At Keswick and District Community First Responders, our team of dedicated volunteers work with North West Ambulance Service and are often first on the scene with life-saving skills and equipment.
We carry defibrillators, oxygen and a full medical kit and can make the difference between life and death if an ambulance has not yet arrived.
We are funded by donations and attend 140 calls a year.
We cover a wide geographical area from Bassenthwaite in the west to Threlkeld in the east, and down three valleys: Newlands, Borrowdale and St John's in the Vale.
DONATE
If you would like to donate to help us deliver our life saving service please get in touch with Jackie.
We use donations to buy training supplies and kit - each First Responder has a full kit costing around £1250.
